We are a tech forward law firm. As a client, you can email, text, or set up Zoom meetings with your attorney at your convenience. You can also submit required documentation securely and check the status of your application at any time in our client portal.
Before we submit an application, it goes through a rigorous review. It is prepared using software that helps to reduce any typographical errors. Your application is then checked for accuracy against your supporting documents before being given a final review by the attorney handling your case. In this way, we reduce the chance you experience unnecessary delays or other problems that could arise as your case is being processed by the government.
If we decide to take on your case and proceed with your application, we will refund your legal fee if your application is not approved. We offer this because we are confident that we can accurately assess your case in our initial screen and that if we take you on as a client, we will be successful with your application.
Brad Henson – Founder
As the founder of the firm, Brad brings over a decade of experience to the practice of law. He represents and advises clients in consumer immigration matters. Upon graduating from Washington and Lee University School of Law, he served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Michael P. McWeeny and the Honorable Lorraine Nordlund of the Fairfax County Circuit Court. After clerking, Brad was a trial attorney with the Office of the Public Defender. In that role he represented clients Virginia trial courts, the Virginia Court of Appeals and the Virginia Supreme Court.
In 2012, Brad left the Public Defender’s Office to become a founding partner in the firm of Henson Pachuta & Kammerman, PLLC. In that role, he focused his attention on immigration law, representing clients in removal defense, family immigration petitions, asylum, special immigrant juvenile status petitions, and consular processing.
Brad founded Henson Immigration Law, PLLC in 2022 to focus his practice on representing clients with family based adjustment of status, consular processing, and citizenship applications. He also advises criminal defense attorneys whose clients have concerns about the effect their criminal case will have on their immigration status.
Brad has presented continuing legal education programs to other attorneys and has been recognized in the legal community with multiple awards. These include selection by his peers to Virginia and Washington DC “Super Lawyers” as a “Rising Star” each year from 2017 to 2022, selection as a “Lead Counsel” by Thomas Reuters, to the “National Trial Lawyers” “Top 40 under 40” and as a “Top Ranking Attorney” by the “American Association of Attorney Advocates.” He also has numerous 5 star reviews from former clients on AVVO and google.
